YOU AND YOUR LEADERSHIP
In 100% Community “Part Two: Community,” we offer 20 chapters focused on why partnerships matter. We asked the following questions at the end of the section. It’s worth reviewing these with initiative participants as you grow your innovations and projects.
- In chapter 11, we described county (and all) leaders as falling along a continuum, from fearful obstructionists to courageous champions. How would you describe the leaders in your county?
- In chapter 12, we discussed the power of of your governor. To what degree do you have access to your governor and staff?
- In chapter 13, we described a state department of early childhood learning (which we hope your state has). If you have one, to what degree do you have access to the department leaders and their staff? If you don’t have one, who are considered experts in the field and can you connect with them?
